The Bangeran Thunderbolt Auto Recline takes the recline chair and removes the handle. One button on the controller lays the backrest through a full 180 degrees and brings it back, so the rider changes position without help and without anyone reaching behind the chair. For a caregiver, that is one less lift several times a day.
Lying back matters more than it sounds. Reclining redistributes body weight off the areas that take the most pressure, improves circulation in the legs, opens up the chest for easier breathing and makes it possible to nap without leaving the chair. Riders who sit for long stretches use it constantly.
The rest of the chair is built for real streets. An aircraft grade aluminum frame folds in about 3 seconds to 20 by 25 by 30.5 inches, dual shock absorbers and 12.5 inch solid rear tyres soak up rough pavement, and intelligent electromagnetic brakes hold on slopes. Double folding footrests keep the legs supported and swing clear for transfers.
A 24V 250W dual motor drive gives 4 mph, up to 12 miles of range and a 300 lb capacity. The digital joystick adds a USB charging port for a phone, and a headlight plus turn signals keep the chair visible near traffic. The 12Ah lithium battery meets TSA and FAA guidance for air travel.

The Thunderbolt Auto Recline comes in Black with Orange, Silver with Red and Gold with Green. Every chair ships with the digital joystick, the remote controller, the headrest, the charger and the user manual. A storage pouch hangs under the seat frame and the joystick carries a USB port for a phone.
Bangeran stocks replacement joysticks, batteries, chargers, tyres and cushions for this frame. Standard third party wheelchair accessories that clamp to round aluminum tubing, such as cup holders, cane holders and rear baskets, fit this chair too.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated.
