The Bangeran Phoenix is the chair for anyone who has to lift it. At 43.65 lb it is one of the lightest powered wheelchairs Bangeran builds, and the 1.85 lb battery lifts out first, so the frame that goes into the trunk is lighter still. A caregiver can manage the whole job alone.
Light does not mean flimsy. The frame is aircraft grade aluminum, it needs no maintenance, and a dual shock absorber setup with 8 inch front and 12 inch rear wheels keeps the ride settled on grass, gravel, brick and snow. The intelligent electromagnetic brake stops it smoothly and holds it in place.
Indoors the Phoenix is easy to live with. The 8 inch front wheels let it spin a full 360 degrees inside a 33 inch radius, so doorways, hallways and shop aisles stop being a three point turn. Breathable seat and back cushions keep a rider comfortable through the day.
It is built for travel. Folded it measures 29 by 14 by 28 inches, and the lithium battery is designed around TSA and FAA rules for mobility devices. A second battery doubles the day range for longer trips. A seat belt and anti tipper are fitted as standard.

Key safety notes for this model. Keep total rider and cargo weight under the 265 lb rating, which is lower than the larger Bangeran chairs. Rated climbing ability is about 6 degrees, so avoid steep ramps. Wear the seat belt on uneven ground and leave the anti tipper fitted. Charge only with the supplied charger and never fold the chair while someone is seated.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted. The person I talked with was very professional. He knew what products I may like, but in the end it was my choice of what to buy, or not buy.
