The Bangeran Lite Wanderer exists for one reason, which is weight. At 31 lb it is the lightest powered wheelchair Bangeran builds and one of the lightest sold anywhere. That number is what decides whether a spouse or a carer can load the chair into a car alone, and here the answer is yes.
Two 180W motors move it, which is enough for pavements, shop floors and gentle slopes up to about 6 degrees. Multi terrain solid tyres, 7 inches at the front and 12 at the rear, never puncture and never need a pump. An intelligent braking system stops the chair from rolling back on an incline, and anti tilt rear wheels, a safety belt and manual brakes back that up.
Transfers were clearly thought about. The armrests lift up and out of the way and the footrest collapses, so getting in and out from the side is straightforward rather than an obstacle course. The seat is a breathable cushioned pad and the armrests are padded and non slip.
For travel it folds flat to 21 by 15 by 35 inches, the battery detaches and it is approved under FAA and TSA rules, which makes it a genuine option for flights and cruises rather than a chair that merely claims to be. A second battery doubles the 6 mile range for longer days.

Key safety notes for this model. The 220 lb rating is the lowest in the Bangeran range, so check rider plus cargo weight against it carefully. This is a chair for occasional and light use rather than all day heavy duty driving. Rated climbing ability is about 6 degrees. I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
