The Bangeran Hercules Lite is the outdoor chair in the budget half of the Bangeran range. Its 16 inch pneumatic rear tyres are the largest on any folding Bangeran model, and that single fact changes where the chair can go. Big air filled tyres roll over grass, gravel, tree roots and broken pavement instead of stopping dead at them.
Dual shock absorbers sit behind those tyres and 8 inch solid front wheels lead the way, so the ride stays settled rather than jarring. A hand brake system backs up the drive controls, which is reassuring on a slope.
The chair carries a 12Ah lithium battery, twice the capacity of the lighter Bangeran travel chairs, and that buys up to 12 miles on a charge. For anyone whose day involves a park, a market and a walk home, that is the difference between planning around the battery and forgetting about it.
It still folds. Down to 29 by 15 by 29 inches, on a frame that weighs 66.4 lb with the 5.75 lb battery installed. That is heavier than a travel chair because the tyres and battery are bigger, so plan on two people for the car or take the battery out first.

Every chair ships with the joystick control, the charger and the user manual. Breathable seat and back cushions are fitted from the factory.
Bangeran stocks Hercules Lite specific parts including the rear tyre, the footrest, the joystick and the seat cushion, so the chair stays serviceable years after purchase. Because the rear tyres are pneumatic, a hand pump is worth keeping with the chair.

Bangeran backs this model with a manufacturer limited warranty. Parts are covered for 1 year and the battery and joystick for 6 months, with a 30 day return window from delivery. Normal wear items and damage from misuse or accidents are excluded, as with all manufacturer warranties.

Key safety notes for this model. Keep total rider and cargo weight under the 265 lb rating. Rated climbing ability is about 6 degrees, so avoid steep ramps. Check the pressure printed on the 16 inch rear tyre sidewalls before every outdoor trip, since an underinflated tyre hurts both range and steering. Charge only with the supplied charger and never fold the chair while someone is seated.
Daily driving runs through the 360 degree waterproof analog joystick, which mounts on either armrest. Speed is adjustable and the hand brake system gives a mechanical backup to the drive controls.
Charging takes 8 to 12 hours from empty and the 12Ah lithium pack covers up to 12 miles, which is enough for most full days without a top up.
For transport the chair folds to 29 by 15 by 29 inches. At 66.4 lb it is heavier than the Bangeran travel chairs because of the big rear tyres and the larger battery, so lift the battery out first and use two people for a car boot where you can. The lithium pack is sized for airline travel, though each carrier applies its own battery paperwork so call ahead.

Air filled tyres absorb bumps that solid tyres transmit straight into the frame, and at 16 inches they roll over obstacles a 12 inch solid wheel climbs. The trade off is that they need checking with a pump every so often and can puncture. For grass and gravel use, that trade is worth it.
The Phoenix is the light one at 43.65 lb, built to be lifted and flown with. The Hercules Lite is 66.4 lb, carries twice the battery and rolls on much larger air filled rear tyres. Choose the Phoenix for travel and the Hercules Lite for outdoor ground.
It is possible but not comfortable. Take the 5.75 lb battery out first and plan on two people for a high boot lip. If lifting alone matters more than outdoor ability, look at the Phoenix or the Lite Wanderer instead.

I needed a mobility scooter that was auto-folding, but not overly engineered where problems can arise, was not too heavy to lift by myself, would easily fit in the trunk of my car, and not be overly expensive. Wishful thinking I thought. Until I discovered the MOJO on my computer. This scooter ticked all my boxes, and more. It is comfortable, well built, is easy to charge the batteries without having to bend down to remove them, and even if you do want to remove them they are accessible from the standing position. the tiller is fully adjustable as are the arm rests, the folding/unfolding functions are easily initiated, and the axle release is easily achieved. A well engineered piece of kit. Now, for the customer service: I can honestly say that I have never come across anything like it; it is absolutely perfect. The gentleman I dealt with 'bent over backwards' to help me without pressuring me into a purchase, and to ensure I was buying a scooter that was right for me. Because I live in New Zealand I knew I was creating a lot more work for him, but he never complained. This and my MOJO are very much appreciated. Found the type of Scooter. I wanted to buy online not everyone has the kind of scooter. I have . Talked to Raphael Perlmann about the scooter I wanted.
